Dear Reader, I believe that healing is an evolving, cyclical journey, one that involves traveling both inward and outward. During the inward phase, we seek to peel back the layers in what I like to call the "reveal it > to heal it" phase. This is the phase when reflective work can shed valuable insight on our inner landscapes, the patterns and programming that we are ready to release and transform. It can also provide a roadmap to the aspect of ourselves that seeks to be seen, held, nurtured and supported. Tarot Talks There are times when the dialogue that emerges during a tarot reading provides key nuggets of wisdom that aid us profoundly on the "reveal it" leg of the healing journey. Tarot is richly steeped in archetypal and mystical meanings that give our souls, and subconscious, a visual and interactive platform to speak through imagery. symbolism and metaphor. The conversations that take place during a reading offers a way to examine the greater mysteries of your soul's evolutionary process, so that you can bring about deep shifts and initiate progressive, forward motion in your life. Reiki Resonates Reiki and Energy Healing initiates the "rest and digest" mode of our entire being. Deep rest and integration is essential to healing. We all possess an auric field (aura) that consists of several energetic layers known as "subtle bodies". These interconnected layers represent the physical, emotional, mental, astral, etheric, celestial and spiritual aspects of ourselves. Reiki is incredibly effective when it comes to cleansing, resetting, and aligning your the primary energetic highways and supporting restoration in mind, body and spirit. When Tarot Meets Reiki & Energy Healing Combining Tarot and Reiki pairs the clarity of having a map with the aid of a mechanic helping fine tune your energetic system so it can run more smoothly. Tarot provides valuable insight, highlighting key way points that might have been foggy or hidden, while Reiki provides the energetic fuel to empower profound shifts, integration and revitalization. The Combination Tarot & Reiki Session with Winifred This is why I offer a 90 minute combined session where we begin with a tarot reading and wrap up with a Reiki & Energy Healing. Dear Reader When it comes to healing, I have discovered how important it is to tend both the seed and soil, to endeavour to be like the Wise Gardener. I consider the Wise Gardener an archetypal energy that inspires and illuminates by inviting us to be both Curator and Gardener on our unique journeys. These roles are adjacent, but different. The Gardener tends to seed and soil, doing the work that cares for all the living beings, plants, pollinators, and wildlife, including stewarding the land...
Part 2: Enemies to Lovers Tarot Tale [My Journey with Tarot] [Be sure to read Part 1 of my story, "Enemies to Lovers Tarot Relationship" in the email I sent last week if you haven't already.] Dear Reader, The sparkle that had drawn me in began to wear off, as I questioned if this whole tarot thing was even meant for me... My break up with tarot was the first time I gave my tarot cards away to a friend. But I couldn't stop thinking about them. Art Work by Wiktoria Mańkowska And then one night,...
Dear Reader, When I first started reading tarot, it was very much a love-hate relationship in those early years.... You might even say it was an Enemies to Lovers story arc, except probably in reverse. A ten year saga of Lovers to Enemies and back to Lovers (repeatedly) is more accurate. When I got my first tarot deck (the Morgan Greer for those that wanna know), I was sooooo excited! I clutched it close to my heart and ran to my bedroom so I could savor it slowly, away from the prying eyes...
