Tending Seed and Soil...Being the Wise Gardener

Dear Reader When it comes to healing, I have discovered how important it is to tend both the seed and soil, to endeavour to be like the Wise Gardener. I consider the Wise Gardener an archetypal energy that inspires and illuminates by inviting us to be both Curator and Gardener on our unique journeys. These roles are adjacent, but different. The Gardener tends to seed and soil, doing the work that cares for all the living beings, plants, pollinators, and wildlife, including stewarding the land to support beauty, harmony and the desired harvests. The Curator (from the Latin word Cura which means care) is in charge of important decisions that impact what is and is not allowed, or tolerated, in the Garden. This is a critical role that guides selection, timing, location of plantings, irregation, soil health and more. They are invested in ongoing learning, discerning which actions best support the theme and intention of the garden. The Gardener and Curator work collaboratively to tend the seed and soil which they care for. In my approach to integrative healing work, I strive to be both the Wise Gardener and Sage Curator, empowering my clients to embody these archetypal energies in their own process. This is why I offer different ways to work together; Tarot Readings, Reiki & Energy Healing Sessions, Monthly Rituals and teaching classes. Some days you need to process through the conversation and guidance tarot provides, while other days, it is the energetic reset found in the calming, renewing vibration of Reiki, or a perhaps a combination of both.
